By using smelt.trade ("the Site") or any product offered by Smelt, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, and not located in or a resident of a jurisdiction where use of the Site or its associated token would be unlawful (see the Geo-Restriction Notice).

What this is

Smelt runs one real, disclosed leveraged position per cycle from a public treasury wallet on a third-party perps venue, and automatically buys back and burns $SMLT with any profit. The Site and any associated token are experimental software, provided "as is," for informational and utility purposes. Nothing here is investment, financial, legal or tax advice.

Self-custody and risk

You are solely responsible for your own wallet, private keys and transactions. Smelt never asks for your seed phrase or private key, and never will. See the Risk Disclaimer for the risks specific to this product.

No performance guarantee

Smelt makes no promise of value, return, uptime or future development. Past rounds are not a guarantee of future results.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Site to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, or interfere with its operation (abusive scraping, attempting to breach security, and similar).

Intellectual property

The Site's branding, text and design belong to Smelt unless marked otherwise. Open-source components keep their own licenses (see /licenses).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Smelt is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any associated token.

Indemnification

You agree to hold Smelt harmless from claims arising from your use of the Site or violation of these terms.

Governing law

This project has not yet designated a governing jurisdiction or registered legal entity. The owner should pick one with qualified legal counsel before the product goes live, and update this page to name it.

Changes

These terms may change; the current version is always at smelt.trade/terms. Material changes will update the date above.
