Using smelt.trade or any token associated with Smelt involves real risk. Read this before you do anything else.

• Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing on this Site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
• Extreme volatility. The value of any associated token can fall to zero. You could lose everything you put in.
• Leveraged position risk. Smelt's treasury wallet opens a real leveraged position every cycle. A cycle can be liquidated; a liquidation means the collateral for that round is lost. This is disclosed and shown live, not hidden.
• No guarantee the buyback-and-burn happens. It only triggers on realized profit. A losing cycle burns nothing.
• Smart-contract and technology risk. Software has bugs. Smelt makes no guarantee the code, the venue integration, or the token contract is free of vulnerabilities, and use is at your own risk.
• No guarantee of value or future performance. Nothing here promises a return, a price, or that the product will keep running or being developed. Past rounds are not a predictor of future rounds.
• Experimental / beta software. Treat everything on this Site as early-stage, not a finished, audited financial product, unless a specific page explicitly states otherwise.
• No deposit insurance. Unlike a bank account, nothing here is insured by any government or private scheme.
• Regulatory uncertainty. Laws around crypto tokens are unsettled and vary by jurisdiction, and may change in ways that affect this product after you've started using it.
• Third-party venue and swap risk. The leveraged position runs on a third-party perps venue and the buyback swap runs through a third-party router. Smelt does not control either service's uptime, fees or solvency.
